How Formula One-mad are you?

By Jamil Allouche

In March, the annual Melbourne Grand Prix kicked off the Formula One season at Albert Park – and boy, was it an exciting race.

This year has seen a lot of rule changes to the cars themselves, as well as some fairly confusing championship points systems for the developers and drivers. That hasn't taken anything away from the excitement of seeing cars speeding around corners at well over 200 kph and hearing the incredible whine of the engineering marvels that hide beneath the slim front section.

Did you miss out on seeing the action for yourself this year? Next year could be a different story – buying real estate in Brunswick can get you into a fantastic location to take advantage of this annual event that really gets the heart going.

Cheering on the local talent

The 2015 race had Nico Rosberg picking up the maximum 25 points – and deservedly so. Aussie talent Daniel Ricciardo managed a fourth-place finish, and he is only looking like improving from this point. Who knows, next year he might just take pole position at his home country's track. The last Australian to win the Australian Grand Prix was Alan Jones in 1980, and 2017 might change that.

The racing circuit is located just south of the CBD, and buying a patch of property on an easy train line in Brunswick, for example, will make transport to the venue as easy as you like. What an opportunity for any petrol head!

What does this mean for you?

If standing track-side at a Formula One race is on your bucket list, crossing it off might be much easier than you think.

While uprooting and moving house isn't always a walk in the park, you'll certainly have something to look forward to every year. Buying your next property will almost certainly be less stressful than selling your old one, however, just talk to the specialist team at Ray White Brunswick to see how we can help.
