By Jamil Allouche

Families living in Coburg real estate have a wealth of local events on offer this month, proving the local council's dedication to offering a range of services to residents.

From art and music to getting your head around technology, there are some great performances and tutorials available to those living in property in Brunswick and Coburg.

Get your groove on

Locals who enjoy a spot of live music should head along to the Peppertree Place Community Garden on Saturday (March 29) for SUNPLUGGED 2014 – a sustainable festival offering music, food and art displays, notes the Moreland City Council.

The festival is sustainably driven, from locally-grown food to a solar-powered stage for bands' performances.

Nebraskatak and Ladyfingers DJ Collective, The Black Harry's and Liz Stringer Band are on the bill for what's sure to be a fantastic event.

SUNPLUGGED 2014 runs from 4 pm until 9:30 pm.

Get technical

Have you bought a tablet device but need a few pointers?

On March 25, the Coburg Library will host an entirely free information session at 2:30 pm, which runs through app downloads, camera use and sending photos to family and friends.

Those who'd like to attend can register via the Moreland City Council website.

If you're interested in buying a home for your family in a community-driven area, real estate in Brunswick, Coburg and the surrounding areas are a sure bet.
