How to give your Brunswick property summer sale curb appeal
Ready to sell your Brunswick home? Think again. This summer, ensure your curb appeal is up to scratch before hitting the market.
The Moreland Council has opened the applications for the 2015 Celebrating Place Grants, which could be great news for those living in real estate in Brunswick, as it could help make their community ideas come true.
Moreland Celebrating Place Grants are made available to locally based not-for-profit groups, organisations and people to help them bring events, festivals and displays to life in the local community. If you have an event in the area to put on between January and September 2015, now is the time to consider applying for one of these grants.
There are two types available: a $3,000 Celebrating Community grant and a $5,000 Connecting Community grant. Some of the previous events funded by the grants include the Gowanbrae Festival, which involved live music and performances by local sporting, dance and gymnastics groups.
Furthermore, the Recognise Concert was held to help support the campaign for constitutional recognition of indigenous Australians. These are just some of the successful applicants over the last few years, which could offer some insight for your own application.
The cutoff for applications is 30 June 2015, so there's plenty of time to put in the groundwork and organise a great community event for residents of Brunswick property.
