Parents are always thinking about their loved ones – most especially the smallest of the bunch, our children.
Property in Brunswick is helping the council's parents to give their kids the best start to life, and the Preschool Storytime in Moreland Libraries has been a hit with so many already for the last five years.
It's not only helping parents to build strong bonds with their children, but it's getting them to find friends themselves and allowing the youngsters to explore the world around them in a safe environment.
If this sounds like something that your family would benefit greatly from, check out the information below.
You might recently have started a family, or even welcomed another addition to your growing home – whatever your situation regarding kids, you'll want to be looking to give them the best possible start. Properties around Brunswick might just be calling out to you.
Giving them the opportunity to read and work together in community at places that encourage learning, such as libraries, will set them up for a great start to their schooling life. Amanda is a local mum who has been going along to Preschool Storytime with her son, Justin, for the past five years and has noticed some fantastic improvements in his development.
"It's great for the kids, they enjoy the songs and the stories and it's really good for them to mix with other children," she told Moreland City Council.
"Justin has certainly made some friends here and I've also made friends with other parents and we've stayed in touch since the kids were babies. I really feel Storytime has helped with Justin's language development and his social skills; interacting with people and other children."
Preschool Storytime runs weekly for 45 minutes at a time in any Moreland Library – all you have to do is turn up with your children!
