How to give your Brunswick property summer sale curb appeal
Ready to sell your Brunswick home? Think again. This summer, ensure your curb appeal is up to scratch before hitting the market.
There are many reasons why owners of property in Brunswick might venture out into their local area, not least because it's packed with great restaurants, cafes and shops.
Realising just how popular the area is, discussions are taking place to make sure the streets and roads of Brunswick are as safe as possible – which may involve some changes.
It's been suggested that removing car parks from the southern end of Sydney Road could be the solution to improved safety for cyclist, pedestrians and drivers.
Once these car parks have been taken away, the Melbourne Times reports that they could be relocated to side streets along the same section of road so drivers are not put at a disadvantage.
Claire Perry, Sydney Road Brunswick Association manager, told the paper: "One of the major problems of the businesses is lack of car parking, because we do have visitors from all around Melbourne especially in the wedding precinct."
Sydney Road is home to a wide variety of retailers, including florists, op shops, jewellers and homeware stores.
It is also a hub for restaurants, cafes and bars, making it a firm favourite not only with Brunswick residents, but also those travelling from further afield.
