Stay on top of your wellbeing in Brunswick this summer

By Jamil Allouche

Staying happy and healthy is the key to a long, successful life. This means getting regular exercise, eating right, spending time reflecting on your life and building a strong sense of character. Across the Moreland region in the coming weeks, there will be a seminar and resources available for residents of property in Brunswick to help people get the most out of each and every day.

On 5 March there will be a seminar offering insight into writing about illnesses and using this as an outlet for any emotional anguish you may experience, Whether it's for something as minute and annoying as the common cold, or something more life-threatening and long term, local author Sydney Smith will teach you how to deal with the psychological aspects of working through these problems.

Furthermore, pedometres are available for hire from the local library. These devices count the number of steps an individual takes during their day-to-day life and can be used to create exercise goals, helping people achieve their long term goals faster.

These kits can be borrowed for up to three weeks and can make all the difference when it comes to motivation and helping boost your own enthusiasm for getting up and moving about your local community!
