How to give your Brunswick property summer sale curb appeal
Ready to sell your Brunswick home? Think again. This summer, ensure your curb appeal is up to scratch before hitting the market.
Young families living in real estate in Brunswick with children of primary school age could be interested in the latest campaign that aims to help encourage kids to become healthier, happier and more active.
VicHealth is responsible for the Walk to School 2013 campaign that encourages primary school children and their parents to walk to and from school as often as possible during October. The Moreton Bay Council is working closely with a number of schools across the area to help implement the programme, which has received funding from VicHealth.
Getting involved means helping kids reach the minimum 60 minutes of recommended exercise they need a day to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Not only this, but reducing the amount of commuting done will also work towards making you and your children more environmentally friendly by cutting down the amount of carbon being expelled into the atmosphere.
There are currently 17 schools involved with the program, with each student receiving an award to celebrate their efforts and achievements, while prizes are also being offered across the region as well for a number of different successes.
